Y&Y Participates in the Event "Form, Principle, Essence" – Contemporary Architecture & Art

On February 21, 2025, Y&Y representatives attended the cultural heritage event at ConsMedia - National Convention Center, themed "Form, Principle, Essence" – From Architecture to Contemporary Art.

The event gathered esteemed speakers in the fields of architecture and art:

  • Architect Lê Thành Vinh – Former Director of the Institute for Conservation of Monuments
  • Calligraphy Artist Nguyễn Quang Thắng – Contemporary Calligraphy Artist
  • Dr., Architect Nguyễn Minh Khôi

The seminar was successfully organized by Architect Trần Hữu Thọ, representing Architecture & Construction 94-97.

Architecture & Calligraphy – The Intersection of Art

If calligraphy expresses the writer's inner depth and philosophy of life, then architecture reflects personality and creative thinking through cultural spaces. These two seemingly distinct fields are closely interconnected, both operating on the principles of Form - Principle - Essence:

  • Form – Structure, layout, and balance in each stroke and design
  • Principle – The rules and philosophy behind creating spaces and artworks
  • Essence – The soul, emotions, and lasting vitality over time

In both architecture and art, the most important aspect is harmony with the surrounding environment, ensuring that each structure or artwork bears a unique mark while still connecting with cultural and contemporary flows.

Y&Y is honored to accompany sustainable cultural values.
